"OLEDs fixed-pixel, mixing multiple RGB subpixels, each with 30–40 nm wide spectral fuzziness... overcome creating cavity trapping OLED light into narrow resonance as 1 pixel (without previously required 3 subpixels) emitting 10s of times purer color across 1 nm linewidth... apply <1.5 V inducing controlled thermal change in cholesteric liquid crystal helical pitch which as it changes, laser color shifts... controls wavefront/ phase, tunes across almost entire visible light range, much higher pixel densities"
