"Ssingle-crystal thin film SmFe8.8N1.1 based on Sm-Fe(1–7 series) compound with increased Fe concentration enabling better magnetic properties: extremely high anisotropy field at room temperature (22 Tesla), higher saturation magnetization (1.64 Tesla)... high Curie temperature (770°K) means no thermal degradation so no need for rare-earth neodymium or dysprosium which have supply chain concerns... uses samarium byproduct of rare-earth refinement, balancing rare-earth use... does not require expensive boron"
