"spintronics using waste heat and magnetic fields (instead of more costly electricity) creating transformations between spin textures, magnetic vortices and antivortices (ones and zeros) in single crystal thin plate device at room temperature... remained stable as skyrmions even when thermal gradient eliminated... when magnetic field not applied, thermal gradient led to a transformation from skyrmions to antiskyrmions, also remaining stable... nonvolatile memory devices using waste heat"
