Nanoscale 'diamond rings' provide unconventional giant 'magnetoresistance' for the development of new quantum devices
https://phys.org/news/2023-03-nanoscale-diamond-unconventional-giant-magnetoresistance.html
"heavily boron-doped diamond (BDD) low temperatures superconductivity... below BDD superconducting transition temperature, abrupt resistance increase rather than resistance drop, suggesting transformation from metals into bosonic semiconductors... giant negative magnetoresistance arising from formation and trapping of Cooper pairs... Demonstration of such exotic quantum phenomena may open up new paradigms for the development of novel superconducting quantum devices"
