A new method boosts wind farms' energy output, without new equipment

https://phys.org/news/2022-08-method-boosts-farms-energy-output.html

"1.2 percent increase in energy output at all wind speeds, and a 3 percent increase at speeds between 6 and 8 meters per second... 31 terawatt-hours additional electricity per year, approximately equivalent to installing an extra 3,600 wind turbines at no cost. This would translate into some $950 million in extra revenue... potentially adopted quickly and easily... don't require additional hardware... same output with one fewer turbine"
