"Doping BP with arsenic results in a two-dimensional (2D) material with a structure that may break the link between heat and electrical conductivity... electrons are very mobile within the layers... weak chemical bonding between layers limits transmission of heat... structure selectively reduces transmission of heat... substituting arsenic for a few phosphorus atoms stabilizes a 2D structure in BP... improved thermoelectric power compared to pure BP... arsenic-doped BP much more interesting candidate than BP"
